Ingredients
4 T-bone steaks, 1 to 1 ½ in. thick
½ cup catsup
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon chopped ginger
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon strong mustard
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
1. Prepare the grill. However, if using a gas grill, set grill on high. Remove fat strips found in the t-bone steak meat, pat dry and set aside steak at room temperatue.
2. Heat saucepan on low flame and then put butter, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and cook about 3 minutes. Stir in vinegar, ginger and honey. Cook another 3 minutes more. When done, remove saucepan from heat and then add the mustard and the lemon juice. Mix well.
3. Brush slices of t-bone steak with catsup mixture and grill. Baste t-bone once in a while until steak is tender or until desired doneness is achieved.
