Keeping it Spicy Burger

Hamburgers are arguably one of the most popular and universal dishes in the culinary industry today. Although commonly eaten as an exceptionally filling and nourishing snack, a burger can also be used as an important part of the main meal. Like most hamburgers the spicy burgers offer the same nutritious and fantastic treat to the taste buds only with a more pronounced and enjoyable characteristic spiciness. This particular feature makes the spicy hamburger into an extremely useful and versatile snack which can be used as a side dish to a wide variety of dishes and can be made quickly and served to guests at any time without much trouble. To enjoy this delicacy right at home without having to pay handsomely for takeout you can use this simple to follow and easy recipe that combines meat with pepper, oregano, paprika cumin and other spices to create an extremely spectacular treat to the palate.

Ingredients

2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 green bell pepper, minced
½ cup chopped green onions
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
Red pepper flakes
Sea salt

1) Preheat the grill to high heat.

2) In the meantime in a large bowl mix the beef, green bell pepper, green onions and garlic and blend well.

3) Stir in the rest of the spices such as the oregano, cumin’s, paprika, salt and a little red pepper flakes.

4) Shape the mixture into 6 hamburger patties and set them aside.

5) Place on the oven and ensure they are fully done, remove from the oven and serve while still hot.
